Monday came too soon. Kyra and I had to get up at 6 am to eat, brush teeth, and pack the last few things for my first day at school! We hadn't been able to contact the lady to tell us what sixth grade class I was in so I had to go with Kyra to all her (9th grade) classes. I got along well even though I couldn't understand anything. The school was a lot bigger than all of Teton's schools together!!!
At the beginning of each class, we had to stand up and say: Guten Tag Frau (or Herr) ....... but when class is over, we just leave. Today was supposed to be a nine hour day but the last teacher was not there so Kyra and I got to leave early. Every school day is a different length for different grades because we don't have the same schedule every day. The school buses come and go multiple times each morning and afternoon.
Colman, it sounds like you are having so many great adventures. I was really impressed with the village you got to see and with your bows. I wish I could taste some German bread! I'm excited to keep reading about your adventures. Have fun!
